Students are expected to engage in clinical activity throughout the term. In doing so, they will have met and exceeded the required minimum ambulatory hours necessary to sit for the NCC certification exam and obtain state licensure. Actual number of hours may vary according to student's ability to meet course competencies. To sit for the AMCB certification exam, clinical safety and competency must be demonstrated. Thus, in addition to required clinical hours, successful completion of all clinical courses requires demonstrated competency along with completion of all clinical assignments, and any required minimum number of clinical experiences. Please refer to the NM/WHNP & WHNP Student Handbook and clinical course syllabi for the complete clinical course requirements and policies.

2

Likely to include weekend AND/OR night call.

3

The final term includes an Integration clinical experience. This is an intensive clinical course that requires full-time practice. We strongly discourage maintaining a work schedule during this term.
