Academics
The following academic regulations, applicable to all students, are informed by the University’s philosophy of a liberal arts education in the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person. Academic life at Georgetown challenges students to explore, inquire, and reflect in an intellectual environment that fosters respect for others. Through the rigor of its academic programs, high standards of integrity, and its international and intercultural focus, the University seeks to prepare students to be active citizens of their community and of the world. All students are expected to know and abide by the regulations and requirements in the Bulletin, the University Honor System, the Code of Student Conduct, and any school-specific policies.
