Anti-discrimination Procedures

Georgetown University does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, disability, family responsibilities, familial status, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, national origin, personal appearance, political affiliation, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, source of income, veteran’s status or any other factor prohibited by law in its educational programs and activities.

Individuals who experience discrimination, harassment, or related retaliation may choose to contact the Office for Equal Opportunity Compliance (OEOC) at oeoc@georgetown.edu  or (202) 687-4798 to speak with an OEOC staff member about options, which may include addressing an incident through the alternative resolution process, filing a bias report, or filing a formal complaint. Information about available options following an incident of discrimination, harassment, or related retaliation is summarized in OEOC’s one-page “Options” document.
