Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business is pleased to offer you access to a new model for world-class business education in 2025 by customizing our premier online Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program for working professionals at leading firms in India. The Master of Science in Global Finance (MGF) will blend the best qualities of a top in-person degree with the flexibility provided by proven technology to attract outstanding students committed to academic excellence, global engagement, principled leadership, and career advancement.
The 19-month MGF program will be offered online with both asynchronous lessons developed by the same faculty who developed the MSF courses, and weekly online live classes taught by many of the same faculty who teach live classes in the MSF program. The MGF program also includes two in-person residencies at the DIFC Academy in Dubai, home to Georgetown McDonough’s graduate programs in the region.
Academic Policies
Students are expected to attend weekly MGFLive case discussions and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA required for graduation.
Students are expected to attend two residencies in person:
- Financial Markets Residency (2 credits, mid-August); and
- Global Consulting Project Immersive Weekend (early-mid December)
Students are required to complete 32 credits of coursework, including 29 credits of core courses and 3 credits of electives. See Requirements tab above.
