Thesis Requirements
All Master of Science students must write either a Master’s Research Paper (MRP) or a Master’s Thesis. The two options are very similar, but the thesis involves more in-depth research, has more formal requirements for formatting, and is deposited in the university library via the Graduate School. Computational M.S. students pursing the 24-credit master’s program must complete a thesis, while students pursuing the 30-credit program may choose an MRP or a Thesis.
