The Master of Science program in Medical Physics provides a comprehensive understanding of the relevant technology and procedures to deliver effective care. Students learn the physical basis of diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy, along with the standards of government regulations and certifying agencies’ guidelines.

Graduates of the program are prepared to create and run a medical physics research program. Grounded with an understanding in anatomy and physiology, graduates have a thorough understanding of the ethics and professionalism and the roles and duties of a hospital-based radiation safety officer.
