The Master of Science in Business Analytics prepares students to drive value-based decisions by combining advanced analytics, business strategy, and leadership skills.

The program is offered in two formats: a 10-month, full-time program delivered on Georgetown’s campus and a 16-month, part-time online program designed for working professionals. Both formats follow the same curriculum and are taught by Georgetown faculty.

Through applied coursework, collaborative learning, and a client-based Capstone Project, students learn to collect and manage data, apply analytical and artificial intelligence tools, communicate findings, and translate complex information into actionable business insights.

Academic Policies

To maintain good academic standing and graduate, students must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.000 and earn failing grades in fewer than six credits of coursework.

The program reviews each student’s academic progress and performance after each academic term. Students experiencing academic difficulty should work with the program’s Academic Director to understand the applicable requirements, available resources, and steps needed to improve their performance.

Failure to meet the program’s academic standards may result in probation, suspension, or dismissal and may affect eligibility for program scholarships and financial aid. Students should consult the MSBA Student Handbook for complete academic standards and procedures.
