Integrative Medicine & Health Sciences, MS

The Integrative Medicine & Health Sciences program trains students to objectively assess the safe practice and efficacy of various complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) modalities and introduce scientific rigor into understanding the mechanistic basis for CIM therapies such as acupuncture, massage, functional/integrative nutrition, herbs and supplements, and mind-body interactions.

Students who plan on entering careers in private and public sectors related to CIM research, education and integrative healthcare will benefit from a rigorous educational program that incorporates a firm foundation in biomedical science, exposure to CIM disciplines, and competence in evidence assessment.

This program is offered through Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
