Management
The management major is designed to help students become leaders who inspire
individuals, teams, and organizations. Students not only learn how to navigate
workplace dynamics and relationships, but also develop critical thinking skills
aimed at solving complex real-world problems. We prepare our students for the
future of work and being at the forefront of innovation and technology, while
making a lasting social impact. As such, our courses merge cutting-edge academic
research, practical and hands-on applications, and are grounded in Georgetown’s
mission and the Jesuit traditions of reflection, care for the whole person, and service
to others. The management major is geared toward preparing students for a diverse
range of careers across numerous sectors and industries, spanning the realms of
business, nonprofits, and government.
