NURC 2020  Pathophysiology, Human Disease  3 Credits  
This course provides a foundational exploration of the physiological mechanisms underlying human disease. Students explore cellular biology, genetic and immune responses, and the pathophysiological changes across body systems including neurologic, endocrine, cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, and gastrointestinal. Integrating the Jesuit value of Cura Personalis, students examine social determinants of health (SDOH) and their impact across the lifespan.
